About the projectIn the 1970s my father was Englishtown Flea-market in Englishtown, NJ. A man was selling a Sonora Phonograph. My father asked how much it was. The man replied, "twenty bucks." My father couldn't believe how cheap it was! He said: "Are you kidding me?" The man relied, "Okay, give me fifteen." This phonograph has made it across country three times: NJ to LA, LA to NY and NY to LA. It used to play great but now there is something wrong with the speed mechanism. I know nothing about Senoras or any old phonographs for that matter, hence this site. Any help, advice or caution would be greatly appreciated! |
